Compressed Air Power Plant, Aljustrel

This facility was built in 1952 to produce compressed air for the mining works. At this time two new compressors and an old compressor (made in 1928 and brought from the old Algares power plant), were installed. The building and the machines within it were restored and musealized in 2004.
