Erges Fluvial Gorge, Segura

Erges Fluvial Gorges, narrow valleys and with abrupt walls, result from the erosion of the river, which excavated its bed in areas of weakness of the rocks, revealing different materials, such as the granites of Salvaterra do Extremo and Segura, the Tonalite of Batão de Baixo or the quartzites of the Termas de Monfortinho.
