In 1935, the Maceira-Liz Factory began a new phase of development and technological innovation with the installation of the third production line, which began operations in 1938. This new production line was conceived to operate independently from the two existing production lines (Line I and II). It was called the "new factory." It consisted of a set of buildings and facilities which, today, are preserved and are part of the museum. During the course of the visit, the visitor can observe and accompany the stages of cement manufacturing through the Stone Circuit, created to transmit the main phases of the transformation process. One of the main innovations of this production line was the introduction of compressed air to the manufacturing process. It was in this context that the Compressor Centre housing the first compressors emerged. It can be visited, and comprises the last interpretation point of the Line III Museum Circuit.
