Monfortinho Thermal Springs, Termas de Monfortinho

Monfortinho Thermal Springs are recognized since the Roman period for the therapeutic properties of their waters and they are a geosite of hydrogeological importance. These natural mineral waters are the result of a complex and slow process of deep circulation, essentially through quartzite rocks, where the water is enriched with silica. The silica mineralization and the temperature of 30.5º are the main  features that confer therapeutic properties to these waters, indicated for skin, liver, intestinal, rheumatic and respiratory diseases. In the thermal spa, in addition to thermal treatments, it is possible to learn more about the properties of the waters, their geological context, their history and also to taste the uniqueness of these waters.
