Pension | Offices, Borralha

Building with two floors, working, at an initial stage only with dining room. The upper floor meant for Mina workers in general, the lower floor served as a restaurant for the direction of the mine on one side and specialized personnel on the other. Subsequently the lower floor was adapted for the installation of the General Offices, Technical Services and Archive. A large part of the technical services, such as topography, geology, engineering, design and other areas, such as various offices, meeting rooms and, since 1970, the entire technical and administrative mine  documentation. The upper floor kept the original operation, now destined for all workers without distinction, being exploited by private individuals was still used, at certain periods by the students of the school. The large area and configuration allowed it to be used as a theater, cinema and variety sessions.

Old church of  Salto

The ancient Mother Church of Salto, is a romantic moth building. Ecomuseu de Barroso - Casa do Capitão

Housed in an old manor house, which belonged to the village captain, representative of authority and power at the local level, this pole of the Ecomuseu de Barroso in Salto represents some of the most emblematic traditional activities. In this space were collected, treated and inventoried more than a thousand pieces. These, donated by the inhabitants of the parish, gave rise to an ethnographic pole, which allows a visit to what would be a typical barrosã house.
